The Levoca city is a national cultural reservation. It has been settled since the Stone Age and the first written reference about Levoca is from 1249. The town laid on an important crossroads of business roads so it began to rise very soon. The city wealth comes from a ancient time. Nowadays we can see it on a Gothic and Renaissance buildings. A well-preserved town wall surround the city which can be visited as well.
